Cid Oliveira, 26, from Rio de Janeiro. I knew I wanted to be on the computer since I was a kid. Grew up between RPG Maker, pirated Photoshop, and internet forums — learned HTML trying to edit the clothes off Habbo Hotel avatars. Former Final Fantasy XIV guild leader. More sensitive and emotional than I look, addicted to sugar, and I hate beer. Early to bed, early to rise. I like making handmade gifts for people I care about.

JavaScript and everything around it - React, Node, Express. I know some Python and Java too but day-to-day JavaScript handles everything I need. On the design side, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, After Effects, Figma. Had a background in game dev but found it more stressful than anything, moved to web and I'm actually having a blast with it.

JRPGs, fighting games, visual novels, competitive games, the Beatles, emo, visual kei, Vasco da Gama, Asian movies and literature. Ludology is my research area in the Master's. I play bass, guitar and drums, been at it for about 10 years but just as a hobby. I speak Portuguese and English, studied Japanese for a few years but honestly never used it for anything.
